The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jonathan Castray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eraldo Scibilia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Hogan was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's Jordon Fortington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Will came free, but Jordon Fortington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Dugald Bowen took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Jordon Fortington to make any attempt to save it. Jordon Fortington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Will, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Natalio Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fotas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fotas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
