In the 5th minute Rick Rosenboom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Scibilia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dakota Balaam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eraldo Scibilia. Fotas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 14 played minutes Fotas got a freekick which was hit by Battle Muller. In the 16th minute Ian Travers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Scibilia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Rick Rosenboom notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fotas's Eraldo Scibilia. Eraldo Scibilia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 minutes, Rick Rosenboom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goochticklas and the Fotas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Goochticklas's Rick Rosenboom got a free kick in the 20th minute. Natalio Costante came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Drew See could save by the left post. Drew See had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Battle Muller's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Drew See didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Battle Muller went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eraldo Scibilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Kennedy in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Goochticklas's Rick Rosenboom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Scibilia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Goochticklas's Drew See proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Goochticklas from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Kevin Will's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Drew See was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Fotas's Kevin Will sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Drew See narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Will was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Goochticklas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tiger Lorenz hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Dugald Bowen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Goochticklas's Drew See. Drew See was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dale Kaine during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Goochticklas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Kaine to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Will received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Drew See tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Kevin Will got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Will scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Drew See, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eraldo Scibilia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rick Rosenboom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 80 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Alexander Gilding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Goochticklas's zone, Kevin Will stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew See came out of the goal and Kevin Will tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fotas had won after a very even match.
