Spectators: 8528 (Terracing: 6397, Seating: 1961, VIP seats: 170) Ellis Hoskin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conner Perrett in the 5th minute of play forced Crimson Eagles FC's goalkeeper Lawrance Shorten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Finley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conner Perrett to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Kevin Conlin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reese Czaczka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ellis Hoskin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrance Shorten having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Crimson Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rod Facey to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Finley booed when Crimson Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaffery Bowman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porter Simpson charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Porter Simpson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Porter Simpson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finley's Reese Czaczka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Finley from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Porter Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reese Czaczka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Jones Addison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Reese Czaczka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Finley's Reese Czaczka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porter Simpson in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Finley booed when Crimson Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Conlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conner Perrett in the 39th minute of play forced Crimson Eagles FC's goalkeeper Lawrance Shorten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Finley got a freekick which was hit by Bevis Stafford. After 43 played minutes Crimson Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Jones Addison. Reese Czaczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porter Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porter Simpson in the 49th minute of play forced Finley's goalkeeper Reese Czaczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Porter Simpson made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Crimson Eagles FC booed when Finley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Palmington didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Crimson Eagles FC booed when Finley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Waterland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porter Simpson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lawrance Shorten made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Conner Perrett sent off a good shot on target. Conner Perrett hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes, Boyde Renny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Finley and the Crimson Eagles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conner Perrett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lawrance Shorten made a huge save. When Conner Perrett came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Finley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conner Perrett couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Jones Addison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reese Czaczka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porter Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrance Shorten made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Conner Perrett sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute of the match, Conner Perrett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lawrance Shorten was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Reese Czaczka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Porter Simpson's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Reese Czaczka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Porter Simpson went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Lawrance Shorten came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Finley's Boyde Renny. But to his dismay, Boyde Renny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
