Spectators: 7030 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlton Rhoades started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Inter Wodonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessop Cubit to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes, Alex Kinsey made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pet Circke's Cullen Playford tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pet Circke's Cullen Playford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Kinsey in the 12th minute of play. Carlton Rhoades charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlton Rhoades the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pet Circke getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carlton Rhoades hit a great ball. Bleyd Hamilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Alex Kinsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pet Circke's Cullen Playford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cullen Playford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Kinsey in the 24th minute of play. Cullen Playford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Kinsey in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pet Circke's zone, Bleyd Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cullen Playford came out of the goal and Bleyd Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes, Buck Missen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pet Circke and the Inter Wodonga players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Inter Wodonga booed when Pet Circke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buck Missen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Inter Wodonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessop Cubit to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Inter Wodonga's goal looked a bit too open when Carlton Rhoades came free, but Danny Devere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Kinsey to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Kinsey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Cullen Playford skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alex Kinsey's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cullen Playford firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bleyd Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Playford having to interfere. Pet Circke's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Bleyd Hamilton scored to the left of an out of position Cullen Playford, making the score, 0-2. Alex Kinsey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Cullen Playford when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Bleyd Hamilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cullen Playford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biggs Perandis in the 78th minute. Cullen Playford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bleyd Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Inter Wodonga's Boyce Worsley got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bleyd Hamilton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Quincy Pears charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quincy Pears the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pet Circke getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Quincy Pears hit a great ball. Inter Wodonga's Alex Kinsey was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Inter Wodonga played a much better game than Pet Circke and deserved their victory. The Pet Circke players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
