Berke Bailey scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Kurth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Pearman in the 12th minute of play forced OzForce TNT's goalkeeper Jamie Quinane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abbott Rose hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jamie Quinane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Pearman in the 19th minute of play. Jamie Quinane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Crane went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Barry Dearn hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dan Pearman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jamie Quinane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Moongobulla booed when OzForce TNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Aylwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Dan Pearman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jamie Quinane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes OzForce TNT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Crane who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in OzForce TNT's zone, Peter Crane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamie Quinane came out of the goal and Peter Crane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to OzForce TNT getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Samuel Aylwin hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Moongobulla's Darryl Walkington got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane got control of the ball when Dan Pearman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Jamie Quinane managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Moongobulla's Dan Pearman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dan Pearman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save OzForce TNT from getting a goal against them. Dan Pearman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dan Pearman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Moongobulla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Pearman couldn't finish the play. If Darryl Walkington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jamie Quinane managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Moongobulla's Dan Pearman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Peter Crane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moongobulla's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Crane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamie Quinane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Pearman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jamie Quinane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save OzForce TNT from getting a goal against them. Moongobulla played a much better game than OzForce TNT and deserved their victory. The OzForce TNT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
