Thanks to some nice moves Philip Tarrant could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Jamie Quinane however easily saved by the left post. In the 34th minute, Bryant Biddell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jamie Quinane. The goal made the score 3-0. The supporters of TheRockets booed when OzForce TNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Fessey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamie Quinane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birrell Batterham in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, TheRockets's Philip Tarrant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jamie Quinane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philip Tarrant made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, OzForce TNT's goal looked a bit too open when Birrell Batterham came free, but Jamie Quinane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamie Quinane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ellis Ashby went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 59 minutes, Remy Fynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheRockets and the OzForce TNT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berke Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Philip Tarrant notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane. Jamie Quinane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jamie Quinane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Fynn in the 90th minute of the match. A hard, long distance shot from Bryant Biddell flew over the goal. When Remy Fynn came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the TheRockets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remy Fynn couldn't finish the play. TheRockets walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
