Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porter Simpson in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cullen Playford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Conlin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cullen Playford. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Kevin Conlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neal Wittber was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. Cullen Playford had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Porter Simpson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Porter Simpson did an outstanding performance 17 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Cullen Playford in the goal. Crimson Eagles FC's Porter Simpson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Porter Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Porter Simpson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crimson Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. If Porter Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Facey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cullen Playford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Cullen Playford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porter Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Carlton Rhoades made the kick off in the second half. Porter Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porter Simpson in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cullen Playford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaffery Bowman struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Cullen Playford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crimson Eagles FC. After a defensive mix-up in Pet Circke's zone, Porter Simpson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cullen Playford came out of the goal and Porter Simpson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kevin Conlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Porter Simpson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cullen Playford was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Buck Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrance Shorten having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crimson Eagles FC's goalkeeper Lawrance Shorten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pet Circke's goalkeeper Cullen Playford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Crimson Eagles FC's zone, Buck Missen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrance Shorten came out of the goal and Buck Missen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kevin Conlin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Crimson Eagles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Conlin couldn't finish the play. Cullen Playford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porter Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Carlton Rhoades got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pet Circke getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Quincy Pears hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porter Simpson in the 95th minute of play forced Pet Circke's goalkeeper Cullen Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crimson Eagles FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
