Angelo Hunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute Angelo Hunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Playford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Diefenbach in the 6th minute of play forced Pet Circke's goalkeeper Cullen Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Quincy Pears fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pet Circke's protests and gave Quincy Pears a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Poonarunna booed when Pet Circke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quincy Pears didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pet Circke getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlton Rhoades hit a great ball. If Angelo Hunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Hunn came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Poonarunna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Hunn couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Pet Circke's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Hunn came free, but Cullen Playford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Angelo Hunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Hunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Poonarunna's Richard Diefenbach made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cullen Playford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Hunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Playford having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Angelo Hunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Playford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Hunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Poonarunna's Angelo Hunn made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cullen Playford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Angelo Hunn made the kick off in the second half. If Angelo Hunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Angelo Hunn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cullen Playford. Angelo Hunn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Andres King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Pears, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Richard Diefenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pet Circke's Cullen Playford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Pet Circke from getting a goal against them. Cullen Playford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Hunn in the 69th minute. Richard Diefenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pet Circke's Buck Missen got a free kick in the 77th minute. Angelo Hunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cullen Playford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Hunn in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Tiger Schonke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Diefenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Angelo Hunn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 95 played minutes Poonarunna got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Hunn. Jagger Fynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres King having to interfere. Poonarunna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
