In the 3rd minute Byrne Gillingwater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Quinane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cudgee booed when OzForce TNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbott Rose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamie Quinane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Sedgman in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, OzForce TNT's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Sedgman came free, but Jamie Quinane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamie Quinane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lowrey Quinnell's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Ian Sedgman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Ian Sedgman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jamie Quinane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, OzForce TNT's Barney Starling got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in OzForce TNT's zone, Ian Sedgman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamie Quinane came out of the goal and Ian Sedgman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Cudgee's Ian Sedgman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jamie Quinane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Best Hicks kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Cudgee's Ian Sedgman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jamie Quinane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jamie Quinane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lowrey Quinnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Lowrey Quinnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Quinane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Battle Goodwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cudgee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OzForce TNT the free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Berke Bailey made the kick off in the second half. Jamie Quinane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lowrey Quinnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jamie Quinane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Sedgman in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Ian Sedgman made a precise shot to the right of Jamie Quinane. OzForce TNT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a little luck, OzForce TNT's Jamie Quinane got control of the ball when Ian Sedgman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lowrey Quinnell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Sedgman made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jamie Quinane would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Lowrey Quinnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Sedgman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jamie Quinane firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lowrey Quinnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Quinane having to interfere. Ian Sedgman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cudgee's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
