Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lowrey Quinnell took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Bryanne Foley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conner Wright took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Kurth. Moongobulla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dan Pearman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alvin Marsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dan Pearman came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Moongobulla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Pearman couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Braedan Franklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Kurth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Kurth was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Lowrey Quinnell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lowrey Quinnell really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Loyd Edwards hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Sedgman got free with Ivan Kurth in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Byrne Gillingwater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Crane kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Jeremy Wal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Conner Wright in the 31st minute really tested Ivan Kurth's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Loyd Edwards was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Loyd Edwards hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Moongobulla got a freekick which was hit by Peter Crane. After a defensive mix-up in Cudgee's zone, Dan Pearman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Marsland came out of the goal and Dan Pearman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Kurth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lowrey Quinnell in the 39th minute of the match. Dan Pearman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alvin Marsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Pearman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Sedgman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ivan Kurth made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Colman during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Pearman to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Darryl Walkington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Pearman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alvin Marsland made a huge save. Dan Pearman struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alvin Marsland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moongobulla. In the 66thth minute of the game Ian Sedgman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moongobulla's Ivan Kurth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Kurth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lowrey Quinnell in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Dan Pearman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moongobulla's Ivan Kurth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowrey Quinnell in the 78th minute of play. Ivan Kurth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Sedgman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Pearman got free with Alvin Marsland in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Kurth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lowrey Quinnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moongobulla's Dan Pearman got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braedan Franklin struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ivan Kurth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cudgee. Moongobulla were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cudgee to leave the ground with a draw.
