Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Hunn made the kick off and thus started the match. Jamese Veitch made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Richard Diefenbach sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Ellis Ashby in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poonarunna's Carleton Beaverley. If Birrell Batterham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Rennie struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Andres King didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheRockets. In the 23rdth minute of the game Brandon Rennie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poonarunna's Andres King was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remy Fynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres King having to interfere. If Birrell Batterham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Diefenbach struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jamese Veitch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poonarunna. When Angelo Hunn came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Poonarunna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Hunn couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Diefenbach in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamese Veitch saved TheRockets from getting behind. After 44 minutes, Brandon Rennie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheRockets and the Poonarunna players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to TheRockets getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Brandon Rennie hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brandon Rennie made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Remy Fynn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TheRockets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remy Fynn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remy Fynn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Poonarunna's Payne Warhurst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jamese Veitch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 64th minute, Richard Diefenbach made a precise shot to the right of Jamese Veitch. TheRockets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, TheRockets's Dakota Shortis got a free kick in the 69th minute. Angelo Hunn scored 3-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamese Veitch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Bryson Smalley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TheRockets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryson Smalley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TheRockets's Jamese Veitch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Hunn in the 76th minute of play. Jamese Veitch came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Poonarunna's Richard Diefenbach. But to his dismay, Richard Diefenbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Birrell Batterham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remy Fynn took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres King. Andres King dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Birrell Batterham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres King having to interfere. Andres King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birrell Batterham, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Many of TheRockets's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. TheRockets may have spent more time on the ball, but Poonarunna were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
