Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Philip Tarrant made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Birrell Batterham managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheRockets's supporters rose to their feet, but Birrell Batterham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reese Czaczka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Tarrant in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reese Czaczka saved Finley from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Pound in the 12th minute of play forced TheRockets's goalkeeper Jamese Veitch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamese Veitch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest Pound's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, one of TheRockets:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Finley. Boyde Renny stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jamese Veitch. 0-1. Remy Fynn took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reese Czaczka. Reese Czaczka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Birrell Batterham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Angelo Waterland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TheRockets the free kick. The supporters of TheRockets booed when Finley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Waterland didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Remy Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birrell Batterham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Boyde Renny made a precise shot to the right of Jamese Veitch. TheRockets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 32nd minute Birrell Batterham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reese Czaczka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamese Veitch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conner Perrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ed Markwell fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TheRockets's protests and gave Ed Markwell a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes TheRockets got a freekick which was hit by Ed Markwell. Boyde Renny might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jamese Veitch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boyde Renny ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, TheRockets's goal looked a bit too open when Boyde Renny came free, but Jamese Veitch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th play minute Remy Fynn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reese Czaczka. 2-2.

Conner Perrett took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jamese Veitch. Jamese Veitch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 55th minute, Conner Perrett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jamese Veitch was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Angelo Waterland was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th match minute, Finley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Waterland to maneuver through the defense. If Ernest Pound had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dakota Shortis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes TheRockets got a freekick which was hit by Dakota Shortis. Reese Czaczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birrell Batterham, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, TheRockets's Sam Kuch got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Remy Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reese Czaczka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birrell Batterham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birrell Batterham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Reese Czaczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Finley's zone, Birrell Batterham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reese Czaczka came out of the goal and Birrell Batterham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Finley players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
