Perth Glory's Brockman Mcinnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Perth Glory from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arneil Krause in the 18th minute of play forced Ingebyra's goalkeeper Alvin Cudmore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvin Cudmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arneil Krause, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Xan Cembrana scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvin Cudmore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingebyra's Zackery Stafford slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brockman Mcinnes. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. Russel Wayland's late challenge caught a Perth Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingebyra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmonds Dale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perth Glory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Russel Wayland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
