Spectators: 8270 (Terracing: 6348, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 62) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bo Renny made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes in the game Dario Salcedo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arneil Krause. 6 minutes into the game, Arneil Krause cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jenkins Kuskopf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blake Lunt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jenkins Kuskopf came out and tried to block the shot, but Blake Lunt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Jenkins Kuskopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xan Cembrana in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ray Williams was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perth Glory the free kick. In the 16th minute, Ray Williams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angus Moorby in the 20th minute of play forced Perth Glory's goalkeeper Brockman Mcinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brockman Mcinnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Renny went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Phenix Mcinnis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Selby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phenix Mcinnis couldn't finish the play. Brockman Mcinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Quelch in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Bo Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brockman Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jenkins Kuskopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xan Cembrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Perth Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Quelch came free, but Brockman Mcinnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xan Cembrana to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Selby FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Quelch. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Cliff Tevelien put in a rough tackle. In the 55th minute, one of Selby FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Selby FC. Arneil Krause shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With 60 minutes on the clock, Engkus Rondonuwu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Perth Glory:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Selby FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martin Quelch, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Perth Glory's Brockman Mcinnes. 2-2. Martin Quelch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Bo Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brockman Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Selby FC got a freekick which was hit by Phenix Mcinnis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blake Lunt in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jenkins Kuskopf saved Selby FC from getting behind. Bart Cookesley kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Selby FC's Martin Quelch tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Brockman Mcinnes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Phenix Mcinnis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 81 minute of play. In the 84th minute, Selby FC's Bo Renny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brockman Mcinnes. Brockman Mcinnes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Martin Quelch kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jenkins Kuskopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blake Lunt in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Selby FC's Phenix Mcinnis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brockman Mcinnes. That made the score 2-5 after 91 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, Bo Renny fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brockman Mcinnes, passed just outside the right post. When the match was over Selby FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Perth Glory throughout the match.
