After 17 played minutes Pensioners 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Antonia Fessey. Brookes Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Norden in the 20th minute of the match. Brookes Beale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Fitzsimmons, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Darley Woods hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brookes Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darley Woods in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Quincy Fitzsimmons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pensioners 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Fitzsimmons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pensioners 2.0's Quincy Fitzsimmons in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brookes Beale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Fitzsimmons in the 37th minute of play. Quincy Fitzsimmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brookes Beale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy Fitzsimmons in the 40th minute of play forced Hunterton's goalkeeper Brookes Beale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Pensioners 2.0's Antonia Fessey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brookes Beale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Brookes Beale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Fitzsimmons, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bill Crane in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davey Curtis saved Pensioners 2.0 from getting behind. Quincy Fitzsimmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Brookes Beale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match, Quincy Fitzsimmons tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brookes Beale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the game, Bill Crane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Davey Curtis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duffield Crawford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Davey Curtis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quincy Fitzsimmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Duffield Crawford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davey Curtis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Antonia Fessey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pensioners 2.0's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hunterton the free kick. Duffield Crawford struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Davey Curtis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hunterton. 95 minutes into the match, Edgar Brading had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davey Curtis. Pensioners 2.0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Brading was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pensioners 2.0 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hunterton.
