Burrowye's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Arneil Krause scored to the left of an out of position Albert Simpson, making the score, 1-0. Clark Yard scored 1-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brockman Mcinnes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonty Schulze's late challenge caught a Perth Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonty Schulze helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Burrowye getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jonty Schulze hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Burrowye's goal looked a bit too open when Blake Lunt came free, but Albert Simpson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Boserio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Arneil Krause got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clark Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Simpson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xan Cembrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Arneil Krause dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albert Simpson, 2-2. In the 27th minute Xan Cembrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Simpson made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Arneil Krause sent off a good shot on target. Burtt Park recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blake Lunt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Albert Simpson made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Clark Yard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brockman Mcinnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After some careless play in the Perth Glory defense, Clark Yard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brockman Mcinnes. The Perth Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brockman Mcinnes should have stopped the shot. Brockman Mcinnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshal Isaac, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grant Bundy to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Cembrana in the 52nd minute of play forced Burrowye's goalkeeper Albert Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Burrowye defense, Blake Lunt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Simpson. The Burrowye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Simpson should have stopped the shot. Burrowye's Albert Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blake Lunt in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Marshal Isaac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burrowye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perth Glory the free kick. After a rather tough play, Burrowye's Marshal Isaac got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With 67 minutes on the clock, Herbert Mclatchey commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Herbert Mclatchey kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Perth Glory's Arneil Krause got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burrowye's Albert Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blake Lunt in the 72nd minute of play. Albert Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arneil Krause in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Xan Cembrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engkus Rondonuwu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Albert Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arneil Krause in the 87th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Bill Keam in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Burrowye's Bryanne Hopkins. Bryanne Hopkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brockman Mcinnes having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Perth Glory's goalkeeper Brockman Mcinnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clark Yard. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burrowye had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
