Woodcroft United's Loud Krause played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Anderson in the 28th minute of play. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannan Peplow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryden Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brook Markwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Brannan Peplow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brook Markwell in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Brannan Peplow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brant Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Krause having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brant Anderson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loud Krause prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brannan Peplow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bryden Hitchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Gummow came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brant Anderson was the one to do the kick off. Bryden Hitchen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cullen Leyden in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Brook Markwell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryden Hitchen. Lucaston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brook Markwell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Tobie Lyle struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Brannan Peplow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Woodcroft United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 68 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brannan Peplow. After some careless play in the Woodcroft United defense, Browne Boyce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loud Krause. The Woodcroft United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loud Krause should have stopped the shot. Lucaston's Brant Anderson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Woodcroft United's Brook Markwell got a free kick in the 79th minute. Brant Anderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brook Markwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Brannan Peplow in the 86thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bryden Hitchen had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Brook Markwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryden Hitchen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen got control of the ball when Brannan Peplow tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Hal Deal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryden Hitchen.
