Spectators: 8500 (Terracing: 6376, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 169) Jack Porteus made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 minutes, Elliott Bennett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tremont and the Barrington players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jack Porteus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tremont's Brock Jackson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bradley Szobczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Allen in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Barrington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnie Moran to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Barrington's goalkeeper Bryan Miller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrew Kean. 20 minutes into the game, Jack Porteus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bradley Szobczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bradley Szobczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Porteus in the 23rd minute of the match. Robert Allen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Szobczak having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Barrington got a freekick which was hit by Jack Porteus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew Kean got free with Bryan Miller in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bradley Szobczak came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrington's Jack Porteus. But to his dismay, Jack Porteus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tremont's zone, Jack Porteus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradley Szobczak came out of the goal and Jack Porteus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Barrington defense, Andrew Kean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryan Miller. The Barrington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryan Miller should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Kean was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Allen got free with Bradley Szobczak in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bradley Szobczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnie Moran in the 60th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Andrew Kean put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bryan Miller. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Allen got free with Bradley Szobczak in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72nd play minutes Andrew Kean shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Bryan Miller and just under the crossbar into goal. Andrew Kean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Arnie Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Barrington getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jack Porteus hit a great ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrington's goalkeeper Bryan Miller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Barrington's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Kean came free, but Bryan Miller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrington's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
