Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kundana's Nilson Osbiston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marshal Aliendi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bern Castner saved Kundana from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berne Moorby during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berne Moorby kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Marshal Aliendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bickford Digiuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Kundana's goal looked a bit too open when Marshal Aliendi came free, but Bern Castner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Osbiston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Peter Algoud made a huge save. Bickford Digiuseppe scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Algoud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 minutes of play Kundana's Berne Moorby was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 45 played minutes Kundana got a freekick which was hit by Berne Moorby. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marshal Aliendi to make the kick off. Ned Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Peter Algoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hedges's Marshal Aliendi in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kundana's goalie prevented a goal. Bern Castner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marshal Aliendi's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Ike Didlick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bern Castner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshal Aliendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nilson Osbiston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Peter Algoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannan Blackham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bern Castner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bern Castner came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Hedges's Marshal Aliendi. But to his dismay, Marshal Aliendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Kundana's attentive Todd Orvad managed to snatch the ball when Brooker Coburn made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Ike Didlick charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ike Didlick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kundana's Ike Didlick got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kundana's zone, Rodd Pears stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bern Castner came out of the goal and Rodd Pears tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hedges's Marshal Aliendi in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kundana's goalie prevented a goal. Curtis Hilton struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Peter Algoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kundana. Kundana were furious when Bickford Digiuseppe was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 90 minutes into the game, one of Kundana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bern Castner, was totally fooled by Hedges's Marshal Aliendi, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bern Castner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshal Aliendi in the 95th minute of play. If Ned Burton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hedges were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kundana's much stronger midfield.
