Spectators: 8386 (Terracing: 6316, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 133) 3 minutes in the game Battle Butterworth did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Barney Saisell. Brisbane FC's Danny Terris quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Birrell Tevelien, made in the 8th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Burns Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brisbane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Burns Bennett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamese Finden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Camerpool's goal looked a bit too open when Burns Bennett came free, but Jamese Finden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camerpool's Max Block got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burns Bennett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Brisbane FC's Burns Notley got control of the ball when Murphey Wakefield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brisbane FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Max Block scored to the left of an out of position Burns Notley, making the score, 1-1. Jamese Finden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Terris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamese Finden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burns Bennett in the 40th minute of the match. Burns Notley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murphey Wakefield in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Block was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Camerpool's goalkeeper Jamese Finden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny Terris. Biddle Sparks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burns Bennett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jamese Finden having to make a save. Drew Kanack hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Paco Greenbank succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 60th playminute. If Max Block had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th match minute, Camerpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Kanack to maneuver through the defense. Burns Bennett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jamese Finden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Max Block received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Burns Notley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Murphey Wakefield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camerpool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Barney Saisell kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Bennett in the 86th minute of play forced Camerpool's goalkeeper Jamese Finden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Biddle Sparks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jamese Finden. The goal made the score 2-3. After a rather tough play, Brisbane FC's Danny Terris got a free kick in the 94th minute. Brisbane FC played a much better game than Camerpool and deserved their victory. The Camerpool players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
