Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antony Mcjunkin started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Paddle in the 7th minute of play forced Laugi's goalkeeper Iggi Wakefield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iggi Wakefield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Mcjunkin in the 10th minute of the match. Iggi Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Mcjunkin in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Kevin Cooney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iggi Wakefield showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th match minute, Laugi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan Aliendi to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Kybongs got a freekick which was hit by Kent Spurr. After 23 played minutes Laugi got a freekick which was hit by Ike Cubit. The supporters of Laugi booed when Kybongs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arty Bleazard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, James Hodge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kybongs's Case Morey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Kybongs from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute of the match, Barnes Haskell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Case Morey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Barnes Haskell came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Laugi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnes Haskell couldn't finish the play. Case Morey made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Neil Rhoades sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kybongs! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Laugi's James Hodge got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Case Morey. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Barnes Haskell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Case Morey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Case Morey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnes Haskell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Case Morey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnes Haskell, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Case Morey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnes Haskell in the 77th minute of play. Case Morey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Hodge in the 78th minute of the match. If Ren Lenard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Case Morey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Rishton in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Rhoades in the 94th minute of play forced Kybongs's goalkeeper Case Morey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kybongs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Laugi.
