After 7 played minutes Landervale got a freekick which was hit by Benedict Millgate. 14 minutes into the match, Ocean Pacific's goal looked a bit too open when Brown Soekirno came free, but Irving Turnbull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Landervale getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Long Wal hit a great ball. A collision led to Ocean Pacific getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Everett Rowdon hit a great ball. When Brown Soekirno fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landervale's protests and gave Brown Soekirno a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Landervale got a freekick which was hit by Brown Soekirno. If Bray Grigson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Long Wal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ocean Pacific's Irving Turnbull was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ocean Pacific's Irving Turnbull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Soekirno in the 26th minute of play. When Alberto Reichelt fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ocean Pacific's protests and gave Alberto Reichelt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ocean Pacific getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alberto Reichelt hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Long Wal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Turnbull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Brown Soekirno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landervale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brown Soekirno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irving Turnbull stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Long Wal's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Landervale's Brown Soekirno got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Long Wal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landervale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Long Wal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Ocean Pacific's Richard Connolly threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Oreilly, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bray Grigson to make the kick off. Bray Grigson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Connolly having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Jonathan Oreilly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Connolly was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Abraham Miller kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Oreilly in the 66th minute of play forced Landervale's goalkeeper Richard Connolly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irving Turnbull took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brown Soekirno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Brown Soekirno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Irving Turnbull. The goal made the score 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean Pacific's zone, Long Wal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irving Turnbull came out of the goal and Long Wal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Landervale were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Ocean Pacific's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brendan Wittber took the corner. Benedict Millgate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irving Turnbull read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ocean Pacific players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
