The The Shadows fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when The Shadows's Darley Adamson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Earl Mcvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Hauschildt in the 30th minute of the match. Earl Mcvey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doyle Feutrill in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Darley Adamson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Wakefield in the 40th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Earl Mcvey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauder Shearn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darley Adamson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Brye Dollymore's late challenge caught a The Shadows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brye Dollymore helped the player get up and apologised. Brye Dollymore kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Lauder Shearn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When The Shadows's Darley Adamson in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauder Shearn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darley Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darley Adamson in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauder Shearn saved Marrawah from getting behind. Amos Spinder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Earl Mcvey made a huge save. Lauder Shearn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bennett Andrusiow went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Darley Adamson made a precise shot to the right of Lauder Shearn. Marrawah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There was no doubt that The Shadows were the better team. The Shadows's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
