With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darley Adamson in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Connolly saved Landervale from getting behind. Doyle Jeavons hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Richard Connolly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Mcjunkins in the 26th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Darley Adamson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landervale's Richard Connolly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Connolly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darley Adamson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Landervale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyd Andrusiow to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Nelson Mogork hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darley Adamson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
