In the 6thth minute of the game Arty Thorne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laugi's Iggi Wakefield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Antonio Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arty Thorne in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iggi Wakefield saved Laugi from getting behind. After having played for 11 minutes, Arty Thorne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. We Lose All The Matches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arty Thorne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berry Telfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Neil Rhoades recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paco Gracey. Neil Rhoades showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Antonio Benson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Laugi's Iggi Wakefield. Iggi Wakefield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 played minutes We Lose All The Matches got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Egel. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Neil Rhoades managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laugi's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Rhoades was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Gracey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paco Gracey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Hodge in the 34th minute of play. If Arty Thorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Benson took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iggi Wakefield. Iggi Wakefield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. We Lose All The Matches's goalkeeper couldn't reach when James Hodge 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Benson made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arty Thorne in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iggi Wakefield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Antonio Benson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The We Lose All The Matches fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Paco Gracey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Hodge in the 81st minute of the match. Raymond Egel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Laugi's Iggi Wakefield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Laugi from getting a goal against them. Iggi Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. We Lose All The Matches played a much better game than Laugi and deserved their victory. The Laugi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
