The referee ignored Ocean Pacific's protests and gave Barth Willding a yellow card for diving instead. Barth Willding hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Iggi Burton made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Everett Rowdon sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Riley was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, one of Aitkenvale:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Everett Rowdon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Iggi Burton made a huge save. Jonathan Oreilly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Iggi Burton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Watson's late challenge caught a Ocean Pacific's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Watson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aitkenvale's Elliot Watson got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Aitkenvale's Corder Travers in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ocean Pacific's goalie prevented a goal. Irving Turnbull showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corder Travers in the 36th minute of the match. Bray Grigson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Iggi Burton made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Corder Travers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Turnbull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Corder Travers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Ocean Pacific was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Best Lucas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean Pacific's zone, Corder Travers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irving Turnbull came out of the goal and Corder Travers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irving Turnbull didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corder Travers went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Best Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Galvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Aitkenvale's goal looked a bit too open when Best Lucas came free, but Iggi Burton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Corder Travers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ocean Pacific's goalkeeper Irving Turnbull, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corder Travers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irving Turnbull read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Ocean Pacific's Irving Turnbull got control of the ball when Bishop Groves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bishop Groves struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Irving Turnbull didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aitkenvale. 96 minutes into the match, Ocean Pacific's goal looked a bit too open when Corder Travers came free, but Irving Turnbull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ocean Pacific fully deserved thier win.
