Spectators: 8511 (Terracing: 6384, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bryden Miels started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Curtis Hilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murdock Reisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes, Art Schulze made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rutgers Utd's Murdock Reisz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andre Nolan made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Byron Lyle immediately put the ball in play. Yalangur's Downing Beverly got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curtis Hilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damon Voller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Downing Beverly in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murdock Reisz saved Rutgers Utd from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Rutgers Utd got a freekick which was hit by Brook Munster. In the 26th minute, Damon Voller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Yalangur's Downing Beverly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murdock Reisz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Murdock Reisz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Downing Beverly went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Yalangur's Curtis Hilton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murdock Reisz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Art Schulze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Art Schulze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murdock Reisz having to interfere. Art Schulze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murdock Reisz having to make a save. In the 58th minute Art Schulze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murdock Reisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yalangur's Art Schulze got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murdock Reisz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Yalangur's Curtis Hilton shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. 70 minutes into the match, Rutgers Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Art Schulze came free, but Murdock Reisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brook Munster charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brook Munster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Art Schulze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Downing Beverly recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Murdock Reisz. Downing Beverly showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Murdock Reisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Schulze in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rutgers Utd's zone, Curtis Hilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murdock Reisz came out of the goal and Curtis Hilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Art Schulze struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Murdock Reisz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yalangur. Rutgers Utd's Brook Munster got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Brook Munster off the ground. After 93 played minutes Rutgers Utd got a freekick which was hit by Brook Munster. In the 95th minute Downing Beverly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murdock Reisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murdock Reisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Schulze, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Yalangur played a much better game than Rutgers Utd and deserved their victory. The Rutgers Utd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
