Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dagan Delahide kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Connolly in the 3rd minute of play forced Prospect's goalkeeper Norman Reiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Earnest Algoud came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ridgley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earnest Algoud couldn't finish the play. With his leg Norman Reiter managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Ridgley's Earnest Algoud fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Norman Reiter made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Earnest Algoud sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Bradley Clark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Legg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brook Bonham struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Martin Legg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prospect. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Earnest Algoud got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26th minute, Bradley Clark made a precise shot to the right of Martin Legg. Ridgley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ridgley's Martin Legg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dwight Sayner in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Fleming Ross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Cudmore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Legg. Ridgley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Bradley Clark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Legg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Norman Reiter made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Earnest Algoud sent off a good shot on target. Earnest Algoud got in the 39th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Norman Reiter handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Martin Legg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagan Delahide, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ridgley's Nathan Prior got a free kick in the 44th minute. Nathan Prior hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Bradley Clark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Connolly made a kick off. Ridgley's Martin Legg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ridgley from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Dagan Delahide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Earnest Algoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ridgley's supporters rose to their feet, but Earnest Algoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Reiter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacob Connolly scored 2-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norman Reiter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Prospect getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nilson Cudmore hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Jacob Connolly sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Prospect's Norman Reiter didn't even have to move. Martin Legg made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Bradley Clark sent off a good shot on target. Bradley Clark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Legg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jake Cordrey. Martin Legg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagan Delahide in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Connolly in the 95th minute of play forced Prospect's goalkeeper Norman Reiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Prospect's zone, Jacob Connolly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norman Reiter came out of the goal and Jacob Connolly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
