Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brooker Teuma started the match with the kick off. Ridgley's Martin Legg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernie Aroege in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernie Aroege in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Legg saved Ridgley from getting behind. Martin Legg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooker Teuma in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Earnest Algoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ridgley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earnest Algoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Legg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Aroege in the 18th minute of the match. When Brooker Teuma came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Southgate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brooker Teuma couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Brooker Teuma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southgate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brooker Teuma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Ridgley's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Aroege came free, but Martin Legg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murdock Crane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earnest Algoud in the 28th minute of play. Earnest Algoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Aroege in the 33rd minute of play forced Ridgley's goalkeeper Martin Legg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matthias Renny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murdock Crane made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Earnest Algoud sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Sabastian Seistrup put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Southgate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 51st minute there was a penalty for Ridgley. Jacob Connolly stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Murdock Crane. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob Connolly to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ridgley's Danny Barry got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Bernie Aroege shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Legg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Southgate's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Connolly came free, but Murdock Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murdock Crane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earnest Algoud in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ridgley's Browne Shearn got a free kick in the 66th minute. Brooker Teuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Martin Legg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Earnest Algoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ridgley's supporters rose to their feet, but Earnest Algoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murdock Crane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brooker Teuma during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Brooker Teuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Earnest Algoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Blake Barker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, Southgate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernie Aroege to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Southgate's goal looked a bit too open when Earnest Algoud came free, but Murdock Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murdock Crane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earnest Algoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Earnest Algoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ridgley's Martin Legg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brooker Teuma in the 98th minute of play. In the 101st minute Matthias Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murdock Crane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
