Spectators: 9198 (Terracing: 6900, Seating: 2115, VIP seats: 183) Cosmic Pigeons's Marshall Busst started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Bradford Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Claytonboyz fc's Marco Keato got a free kick in the 7th minute. Marshall Busst who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Everardo Avellaneda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Berry Waterland charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berry Waterland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 minutes, Marco Keato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claytonboyz fc and the Cosmic Pigeons players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Claytonboyz fc getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marco Keato hit a great ball. Marshall Busst struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Everardo Avellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmic Pigeons. If Hank Mills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalwood Leach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Everardo Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Cosmic Pigeons's Payton Todman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marshall Busst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Marco Keato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marshall Busst received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Everardo Avellaneda came out and tried to block the shot, but Marshall Busst slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute, Anastasio Panfilo made a precise shot to the right of Philip Jury. Cosmic Pigeons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anastasio Panfilo made the kick off in the second half. Cosmic Pigeons made a substitution. Parker Ridding replaced Drew Keato. Howard Dale kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cole Bundy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Avellaneda having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Ward Spaulding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claytonboyz fc and the Cosmic Pigeons players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Ward Spaulding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmic Pigeons's Philip Jury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Panfilo in the 76th minute of play. Cole Bundy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Claytonboyz fc getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Corbett Winkless hit a great ball. Berry Waterland got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Cosmic Pigeons's Berry Waterland got a free kick in the 89th minute. Marshall Busst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claytonboyz fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
