Selim Tuğbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carleton Howie, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Carleton Howie in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 48th minute of the match Amputees FC got a corner. Knaggel FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Roach ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Roach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Selim Tuğbay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carleton Howie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lauder Franklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Carleton Howie, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Selim Tuğbay was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Howie in the 59th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Bengt-Åke Kvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Neville Peach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Sawbridge kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Marcus Roach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humphry Chant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carleton Howie in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selim Tuğbay saved Knaggel FC from getting behind. Amputees FC's Howie Withy got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carleton Howie in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selim Tuğbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Art Kidman got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Amputees FC's Carleton Howie in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knaggel FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Howie Withy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amputees FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howie Withy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Ed Mckinley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Selim Tuğbay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Knaggel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carleton Howie came free, but Selim Tuğbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Amputees FC's Ed Mckinley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Selim Tuğbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Selim Tuğbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carleton Howie's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amputees FC had played much better football throughout.
