The Mount Pleasant FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nathaniel Quinn's late challenge caught a Mount Pleasant FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathaniel Quinn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Mellis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Quinn to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Ciolac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Mapps in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Mellis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Fitzsimmons to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Dallas Kuch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasile Ciolac. Mellis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dallas Kuch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Vasile Ciolac didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Mapps went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 45th match minute, Mellis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Quinn to maneuver through the defense. Mellis's Vasile Ciolac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dallas Kuch in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vasile Ciolac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. During the 60th minute of the match Nathaniel Quinn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nathaniel Quinn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 61st minute, Nathaniel Quinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dallas Kuch came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mount Pleasant FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dallas Kuch couldn't finish the play. Vasile Ciolac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Mapps in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Mapps in the 71st minute of play forced Mellis's goalkeeper Vasile Ciolac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mellis's Vasile Ciolac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eavan Mcjunkin in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Mellis's Vasile Ciolac got control of the ball when Dallas Kuch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasile Ciolac was a little too slow when Eavan Mcjunkin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-8. With his leg Vasile Ciolac managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Mount Pleasant FC's Dallas Kuch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Mellis getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Henry Fitzsimmons hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Randolph Jobson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mellis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mount Pleasant FC the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Mellis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randolph Jobson to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Ciolac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eavan Mcjunkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mellis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Eavan Mcjunkin scored to the left of an out of position Vasile Ciolac, making the score, 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Mount Pleasant FC's Eavan Mcjunkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vasile Ciolac. That made the score 0-10 after 96 minutes of play. When the match was over Mount Pleasant FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mellis throughout the match.
