If Randolph Jobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Randolph Jobson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inamotos's Irwin Stevens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Hands during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Mellis got a freekick which was hit by Arne Hands. In the 14th minute, Randolph Jobson made a precise shot to the right of Irwin Stevens. Inamotos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute David Bîlbă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irwin Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Randolph Jobson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Vasile Ciolac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Willison in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Andy Mewburn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inamotos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellis the free kick. In the 29th minute, Andy Mewburn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Jobson in the 31st minute of play forced Inamotos's goalkeeper Irwin Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mellis's Vasile Ciolac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Willison in the 33rd minute of play. Nathaniel Quinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irwin Stevens having to interfere. The supporters of Mellis booed when Inamotos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eavan Coleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Randolph Jobson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mellis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randolph Jobson couldn't finish the play. Randolph Jobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irwin Stevens having to interfere. Ryan Oshea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, David Bîlbă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irwin Stevens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Inamotos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mellis were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Willison made a kick off. Randolph Jobson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Irwin Stevens made a huge save. Eliot Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Inamotos's zone, Randolph Jobson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irwin Stevens came out of the goal and Randolph Jobson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, David Bîlbă put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Irwin Stevens. In the 61st minute, Randolph Jobson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Randolph Jobson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Irwin Stevens made a huge save. Randolph Jobson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irwin Stevens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Randolph Jobson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randolph Jobson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Henry Fitzsimmons fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellis's protests and gave Henry Fitzsimmons a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mellis's Henry Fitzsimmons got a free kick in the 69th minute. Randolph Jobson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Irwin Stevens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellis. 76 minutes in the game, David Bîlbă fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Irwin Stevens having to interfere. Irwin Stevens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Bîlbă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 77 minute of play. Jonathan Hunter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Irwin Stevens came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Hunter slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 81st minute. A hard shot 85 in the game by Randolph Jobson from a close distance when the talented Irwin Stevens managed to make a qualified save. Inamotos's players were relieved. In the 86th minute, David Bîlbă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Randolph Jobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Mellis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Quinn to maneuver through the defense.
