The Claytonboyz fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Avellaneda should have stopped the shot. After 27 played minutes Darwin Saville FC got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Prado. Anastasio Panfilo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Everardo Avellaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Everardo Avellaneda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Spaulding in the 52nd minute of play. Everardo Avellaneda made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Göran Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. Göran Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Darwin Saville FC's Everardo Avellaneda threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Göran Jonasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Anastasio Panfilo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Claytonboyz fc's protests and gave Anastasio Panfilo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Claytonboyz fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Glauco Prado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Avellaneda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Darwin Saville FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
