After a defensive mix-up in BES MUDI BANDITS's zone, Carleton Howie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Heiberg came out of the goal and Carleton Howie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, BES MUDI BANDITS's goal looked a bit too open when Carleton Howie came free, but Einar Heiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of BES MUDI BANDITS booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Royans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dean Watts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichol Clark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amputees FC's Dean Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichol Clark in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stewart Watson got free with Dean Watts in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lauder Franklin took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Heiberg. Einar Heiberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 46th match minute, BES MUDI BANDITS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Crampton to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nichol Clark was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Laing who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Einar Heiberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 73 minutes of play, BES MUDI BANDITS's Stewart Watson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Watts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nichol Clark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Roger Sinden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, BES MUDI BANDITS's Stewart Watson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dean Watts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 83rd match minute, BES MUDI BANDITS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barth Alchin to maneuver through the defense. Todd Crampton's late challenge caught a Amputees FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Todd Crampton helped the player get up and apologised. 92 minutes into the match, BES MUDI BANDITS's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Laing came free, but Einar Heiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
