The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Jonasson got free with Philip Jury in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Abo Bakr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Jury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cole Bundy kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Philip Jury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guille Cantero in the 7th minute of play. Philip Jury showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Jonasson in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Berry Waterland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abo Bakr received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Philip Jury came out and tried to block the shot, but Abo Bakr slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Cosmic Pigeons's Philip Jury proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cosmic Pigeons from getting a goal against them. Cosmic Pigeons's Philip Jury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Jonasson in the 26th minute of play. When Drew Keato came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cosmic Pigeons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Keato couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Göran Jonasson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Philip Jury to make any attempt to save it. Cosmic Pigeons's Philip Jury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Jonasson in the 42nd minute of play. Payton Todman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Abo Bakr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Jury was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After some careless play in the Cosmic Pigeons defense, Göran Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Jury. The Cosmic Pigeons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Jury should have stopped the shot. Philip Jury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abo Bakr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Cosmic Pigeons got a freekick which was hit by Irwin Gilding. Philip Jury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Jonasson in the 89th minute of play forced Cosmic Pigeons's goalkeeper Philip Jury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göran Jonasson in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Jury prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Cosmic Pigeons getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marshall Busst hit a great ball. Phil Haydock kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Philip Jury didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abo Bakr went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Darwin Saville FC were the better team. Darwin Saville FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
