In the 7th minute Nurkan Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Ramsdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dallas Kuch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliot Pfingst was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Cai Inestrosas short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Aaron Ramsdal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 29 minutes of play, Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Ramsdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nurkan Salah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southern Thrashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Nurkan Salah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Ramsdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Southern Thrashers's zone, Dallas Kuch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliot Pfingst came out of the goal and Dallas Kuch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cai Inestrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aaron Ramsdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dallas Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Eliot Pfingst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mount Pleasant FC's Rodney Buckland was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliot Pfingst in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
