In the 14th minute Humphry Chant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inamotos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Humphry Chant was slow to take the kick. During this time Knaggel FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Knaggel FC's corner Humphry Chant fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Irwin Stevens quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humphry Chant in the 17th minute of play forced Inamotos's goalkeeper Irwin Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Inamotos's Carlisle Dowling got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Inamotos's goal looked a bit too open when Barnes Garing came free, but Irwin Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humphry Chant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humphry Chant scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irwin Stevens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Knaggel FC's goalkeeper Selim Tuğbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murphy Greenan. Irwin Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barnes Garing went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Inamotos's zone, Bengt-Åke Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irwin Stevens came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selim Tuğbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murphy Greenan in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddy Willison to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match Bengt-Åke Kvist climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-6 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Irwin Stevens. Selim Tuğbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Willison in the 56th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Kvist had several of the Inamotos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Irwin Stevens as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 62nd minute, Bengt-Åke Kvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knaggel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 65 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Kvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knaggel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inamotos the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Knaggel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Kvist to maneuver through the defense. If Humphry Chant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Inamotos's goal looked a bit too open when Humphry Chant came free, but Irwin Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Åke Kvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Irwin Stevens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bengt-Åke Kvist in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Irwin Stevens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Irwin Stevens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Kvist in the 78th minute. A collision led to Inamotos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Murphy Greenan hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Knaggel FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inamotos.
