Battle Minne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8th play minutes Cai Inestrosa shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Everardo Avellaneda and just under the crossbar into goal. Kent Wilde's late challenge caught a Southern Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Wilde helped the player get up and apologised. Kent Wilde hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 17th minute of play forced Claytonboyz fc's goalkeeper Everardo Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Cai Inestrosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southern Thrashers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Everardo Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Inestrosa in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Avellaneda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Marco Keato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Claytonboyz fc's goalkeeper Everardo Avellaneda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Inestrosa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Avellaneda saved Claytonboyz fc from getting behind. Howard Dale hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Southern Thrashers were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Claytonboyz fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nurkan Salah took the corner. 40 minutes into the match, Claytonboyz fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Inestrosa came free, but Everardo Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Cai Inestrosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Everardo Avellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cai Inestrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Claytonboyz fc booed when Southern Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jackson Millgate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cai Inestrosa made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Cai Inestrosa made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Claytonboyz fc's Everardo Avellaneda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cai Inestrosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everardo Avellaneda having to make a save. Corbett Winkless kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Despite this Everardo Avellaneda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 68th play minutes Cai Inestrosa shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Everardo Avellaneda and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 72nd minute Cai Inestrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Southern Thrashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nurkan Salah in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Nurkan Salah got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Avellaneda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Everardo Avellaneda came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa. But to his dismay, Cai Inestrosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 91st minute of play forced Claytonboyz fc's goalkeeper Everardo Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Southern Thrashers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
