Spectators: 9062 (Terracing: 6953, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bengt-Åke Kvist started the match with the kick off. Dallas Kuch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selim Tuğbay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Knaggel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dallas Kuch came free, but Selim Tuğbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Bickford Minton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selim Tuğbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Bengt-Åke Kvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aaron Ramsdal, 1-0. Humphry Chant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Aaron Ramsdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Knaggel FC's Brooker Crapp got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 36th match minute, Knaggel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Kvist to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Knaggel FC's zone, Bickford Minton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selim Tuğbay came out of the goal and Bickford Minton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Randell Gledden's late challenge caught a Knaggel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Randell Gledden helped the player get up and apologised. Selim Tuğbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bickford Minton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mount Pleasant FC's Darian Lawrence got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aaron Ramsdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Kvist in the 44th minute.

Mount Pleasant FC's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humphry Chant in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dallas Kuch in the 56th minute of play forced Knaggel FC's goalkeeper Selim Tuğbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bickford Minton in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selim Tuğbay saved Knaggel FC from getting behind. When Boris Pegrum fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mount Pleasant FC's protests and gave Boris Pegrum a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Mount Pleasant FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Pegrum. Aaron Ramsdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Kvist's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Benney Howie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Bickford Minton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mount Pleasant FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bickford Minton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selim Tuğbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodney Buckland charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodney Buckland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Mount Pleasant FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Buckland. After 74 played minutes, Knaggel FC's Humphry Chant shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Knaggel FC reached it. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Dallas Kuch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 83 minutes Knaggel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodney Buckland who took care of the corner kick. Dallas Kuch hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dallas Kuch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selim Tuğbay was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Bickford Minton sped through Knaggel FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Selim Tuğbay. If Humphry Chant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Mount Pleasant FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Knaggel FC throughout the match.
