The supporters of Southern Thrashers booed when Darwin Saville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Nurkan Salah in the 3rd minute of play was well struck, but Carman Tinsley made a really good save at the right post. Carman Tinsley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nurkan Salah's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Eliot Pfingst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guille Cantero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Southern Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cebo Arnero to maneuver through the defense. Carman Tinsley made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cai Inestrosa sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the game, Duncan Hansen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Darwin Saville FC's Glauco Prado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Darwin Saville FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Glauco Prado hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Cai Inestrosa made a precise shot to the right of Carman Tinsley. Darwin Saville FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Battle Minne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duncan Hansen's late challenge caught a Darwin Saville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Hansen helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Southern Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Hansen. 44 minutes into the game, Göran Jonasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eliot Pfingst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Göran Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliot Pfingst was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Xu Liang was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

The wind increased when Göran Jonasson made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Göran Jonasson made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Southern Thrashers's Eliot Pfingst tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nurkan Salah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Tinsley having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Southern Thrashers's Duncan Hansen got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Guille Cantero came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Southern Thrashers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sture Jakobsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Darwin Saville FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sture Jakobsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eliot Pfingst quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Cai Inestrosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southern Thrashers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A collision led to Darwin Saville FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ehrhard Reich hit a great ball. If Nurkan Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Guille Cantero came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carman Tinsley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurkan Salah in the 88th minute of play. Göran Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eliot Pfingst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 99 minutes, Sture Jakobsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darwin Saville FC and the Southern Thrashers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sture Jakobsson hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. In the 100thth minute of the game Cai Inestrosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
