Alan Blestowe's late challenge caught a Thoona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Blestowe helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Blestowe kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Pearce Skurrie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Aliendi's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Haşmet Aktekin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pearce Skurrie. Thoona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haşmet Aktekin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
