After some careless play in the Elderslie Magpies defense, Oliver Aliendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Kerville. The Elderslie Magpies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Kerville should have stopped the shot. Oliver Aliendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Haşmet Aktekin made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cheng Qi Hao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Perth Glory's Haşmet Aktekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Kerville made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Christian Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheng Qi Hao in the 60th minute of play. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Aktekin in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Sam Mccartan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaffery Hayward saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alan Blestowe kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Neal Weatherby made a precise shot to the right of Jaffery Hayward. Perth Glory's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. Although Perth Glory had been in control for most of the match, Elderslie Magpies still came away with the win.
