Spectators: 8775 (Terracing: 6500, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 175) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessandro Sacchi kicked off to start the match. Stratton FC's Lawrance See proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Stratton FC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, Irwin Thomas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lawrance See. Irwin Thomas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Canobolas were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Stratton FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ignacio Manuel took the corner. With a little luck, Stratton FC's Lawrance See got control of the ball when Shane Warne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Jakub Zoufalý had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nathaniel Moorby. Canobolas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakub Zoufalý was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, Stratton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dakota Moorby to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Odd during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nathaniel Moorby had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Alessandro Sacchi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dakota Moorby hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Zoufalý in the 40th minute of play forced Canobolas's goalkeeper Nathaniel Moorby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Grieve kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Manuel was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Martyon Gronow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irwin Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Jens Sundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stratton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canobolas the free kick. The supporters of Canobolas booed when Stratton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Manuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Canobolas's Nathaniel Moorby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Sacchi in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Stratton FC got a corner. Canobolas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Sacchi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alessandro Sacchi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nathaniel Moorby quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nathaniel Moorby made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alessandro Sacchi sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro Sacchi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nathaniel Moorby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stratton FC. In the 68th minute, Alessandro Sacchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute of the match, Alessandro Sacchi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nathaniel Moorby was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Manuel came free, but Lawrance See reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthew Sanderson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Stratton FC's Brynn Andrews was substituted for Matt Sanderson. After a rather tough play, Canobolas's Matthew Sanderson got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute Benjy Nelson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrance See saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stratton FC's Irving Mcjunkins was substituted for Alessandro Sacchi. Ivan Warhurst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
