Spectators: 8356 (Terracing: 6200, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Umberto do Valle started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ayreon's goalkeeper Joseph Mccormick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto do Valle. Larkins Adair kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Arne Kinnaird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponciano Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Kinnaird in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ponciano Climent saved Ridgley from getting behind. Umberto do Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joseph Mccormick came out and tried to block the shot, but Umberto do Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Matthes in the 16th minute of play forced Ayreon's goalkeeper Joseph Mccormick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rusty Huntington's late challenge caught a Ayreon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Huntington helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brown Muddle in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ponciano Climent saved Ridgley from getting behind. Ridgley's Ralph Matthes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joseph Mccormick made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Umberto do Valle sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ayreon's Jared Tucknott got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ponciano Climent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brown Muddle in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ridgley's goal looked a bit too open when Jared Tucknott came free, but Ponciano Climent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Mccormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto do Valle in the 33rd minute of play. Ponciano Climent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jared Tucknott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Rod Ashwin in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ridgley's Bleyd Babbage. Arne Kinnaird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bradshaw Johnson charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradshaw Johnson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bradshaw Johnson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Jared Tucknott missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ponciano Climent right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne Kinnaird made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ayreon's Barnett Allcock got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Ayreon booed when Ridgley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradshaw Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponciano Climent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Kinnaird, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ridgley's Ponciano Climent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ridgley from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Ridgley's goal looked a bit too open when Boyce Johnson came free, but Ponciano Climent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Ralph Boserio made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Mccormick. Ayreon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ponciano Climent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Kinnaird in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Umberto do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Mccormick was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Joseph Mccormick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Ralph Boserio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ridgley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayreon the free kick. In the 79th minute Boyce Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponciano Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Brown Muddle took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Ponciano Climent to make any attempt to save it. Boyce Johnson struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ponciano Climent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayreon. In the 85th minute, Ayreon's Brown Muddle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ponciano Climent. Ponciano Climent yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Ponciano Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Johnson in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Arne Kinnaird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponciano Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ponciano Climent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jared Tucknott, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ponciano Climent was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Arne Kinnaird capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arne Kinnaird really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3.
