Spectators: 9227 (Terracing: 6921, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 184) Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Dakota Newham successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A well-hit corner resulted in Vicente Alves heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Buck Smalley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Buck Smalley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dakota Newham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dakota Newham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 14th minute of play. If Buck Smalley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buck Smalley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dakota Newham having to make a save. Rodborough were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Leeton United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. László Kulcsár took the corner. After a rather tough play, Leeton United FC's Danton Keam got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A hard shot by László Kulcsár from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Dakota Newham's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jagger Kaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paz Gledden, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Boguslaw Golaszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leeton United FC's Dakota Newham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Boguslaw Golaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dakota Newham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leeton United FC's Dakota Newham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 36th minute of play. Dakota Newham had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Boguslaw Golaszewski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Boguslaw Golaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dakota Newham having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Wu Si Xiao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dakota Newham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Leeton United FC's zone, Boguslaw Golaszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dakota Newham came out of the goal and Boguslaw Golaszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jagger Kaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clay Heath, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dakota Newham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 65th minute of play. When Boguslaw Golaszewski came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Rodborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Golaszewski couldn't finish the play. Dakota Newham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 77th minute of play. Boguslaw Golaszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dakota Newham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 81st minute of play. Leeton United FC's Dakota Newham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brookes Crane in the 86th minute of play forced Rodborough's goalkeeper Jagger Kaine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Boguslaw Golaszewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dakota Newham was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Rodborough booed when Leeton United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Chamberlain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes, Paz Gledden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeton United FC and the Rodborough players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Paz Gledden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodborough's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
