In the 7th minute, Hipólito Malheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Connor Rouse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hipólito Malheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alwinton FC's Connor Rouse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Preto in the 17th minute of play. Pedro Montoia might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Connor Rouse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Montoia ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Hipólito Malheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Connor Rouse was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ignacio Di Stasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Bowler in the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipólito Malheiro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Connor Rouse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Connor Rouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipólito Malheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Feliberto Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Di Stasi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alwinton FC's zone, Hipólito Malheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Connor Rouse came out of the goal and Hipólito Malheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Connor Rouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felíx Galão in the 48th minute of play. The Alwinton FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dínamo Kwanza were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipólito Malheiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Connor Rouse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Preto's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Dínamo Kwanza booed when Alwinton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Connery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Connor Rouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipólito Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dínamo Kwanza's Carlos Carvoeiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Danny Bowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felíx Galão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Connor Rouse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipólito Malheiro got free with Connor Rouse in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Connor Rouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felíx Galão in the 73rd minute of play. Connor Rouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felíx Galão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dínamo Kwanza booed when Alwinton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Cotterill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Dínamo Kwanza got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Montoia. 79 minutes into the match, Alwinton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felíx Galão came free, but Connor Rouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felíx Galão in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Connor Rouse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Felíx Galão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Rouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Hipólito Malheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alwinton FC's Connor Rouse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Alwinton FC from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, Hipólito Malheiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Connor Rouse. Hipólito Malheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Connor Rouse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipólito Malheiro in the 95th minute. Dínamo Kwanza played a much better game than Alwinton FC and deserved their victory. The Alwinton FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
