When Ernest Bondarev fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biysk FC's protests and gave Ernest Bondarev a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Biysk FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Bondarev. Gennadiy Bilinskiy made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ernest Bondarev. 22 minutes into the game, Margiris Balkaitis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yatskogoli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biysk FC the free kick. A collision led to Yatskogoli FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Margiris Balkaitis hit a great ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Iosif Larioshin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yatskogoli FC's Valentas Paplauskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Bondarev got free with Valentas Paplauskas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvydas Vaineikis in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuriy Havroshin saved Biysk FC from getting behind. When Arvydas Vaineikis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Yatskogoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvydas Vaineikis couldn't finish the play. Yuriy Havroshin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvydas Vaineikis in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Arvydas Vaineikis made a precise shot to the right of Yuriy Havroshin. Biysk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvydas Vaineikis was the one to do the kick off. Biysk FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Arvydas Vaineikis scored to the left of an out of position Yuriy Havroshin, making the score, 0-3. Nikolay Abuladze got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 82 played minutes Biysk FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Abuladze. After some careless play in the Yatskogoli FC defense, Ernest Bondarev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentas Paplauskas. The Yatskogoli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentas Paplauskas should have stopped the shot. Beržas Vertelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Yuriy Havroshin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
