With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rimas Morkūnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolay Abuladze, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vygandas Borgela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Yuriy Havroshin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bytlaukis FC booed when Biysk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuliy Vetlugin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Yuliy Vetlugin threw the ball into play from the sideline. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Bytlaukis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artem Emchenko came free, but Rimas Morkūnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Biysk FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Yuliy Vetlugin hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauras Dackus made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lauras Dackus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Lauras Dackus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuriy Havroshin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Bytlaukis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artem Emchenko came free, but Rimas Morkūnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Biysk FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vygandas Borgela fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yuriy Havroshin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juras Mackevičius in the 74th minute. Vygandas Borgela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ernest Bondarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Artem Emchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rimas Morkūnas. Bytlaukis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artem Emchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
