Marijonas Karosas hit a great ball. Valentas Paplauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marijonas Karosas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kęstutis Stuburas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Valentas Norvilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrikas Grigaliūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Kęstutis Stuburas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentas Paplauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Yatskogoli FC's Valentas Norvilas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orestas Tamašauskas made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Martynas Povilaitis immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Yatskogoli FC's Domas Baliutis got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ernestas Grikšas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Valentas Paplauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijonas Karosas, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marijonas Karosas to make the kick off. Kęstutis Stuburas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Valentas Paplauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldas Uždavinys, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. FK Dravdziki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatskogoli FC the free kick. The supporters of Yatskogoli FC booed when FK Dravdziki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulius Melekša didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvydas Vaineikis spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FK Dravdziki's goal. If Marijonas Karosas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvydas Vaineikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
